Avila House

This solid brick home in Caulfield North, built in the mid-1980s, had remained untouched until its new owners saw its potential. Home to a family of six, it needed to feel cohesive, contemporary, and cater to the needs of a busy, multi-generational household.

NY Design was engaged soon after purchase to completely reimagine the interiors. Every corner was thoughtfully redesigned — from the striking new staircase that now anchors the entry to the home, to the beautifully appointed bar and fireplace in the formal lounge, to the state-of-the-art cinema room. Bespoke joinery, natural stone finishes and custom detailing add both function and indulgence, creating a home that is elegant, welcoming and perfectly attuned to family life.
