Avila House

This solid brick home in Caulfield North, built in the mid-1980s, had remained untouched until its new owners saw its potential. Home to a family of six, it needed to feel cohesive, contemporary, and cater to the needs of a busy, multi-generational household.

NY Design was engaged soon after purchase to completely reimagine the interiors. Every corner was thoughtfully redesigned — from the striking new staircase that now anchors the entry to the home, to beautifully appointed spaces including the kitchen, bathrooms, study and lounge. Bespoke joinery, natural stone finishes, custom robes, a new fireplace and a state-of-the-art cinema room add both function and indulgence, creating a home that is elegant, welcoming and perfectly attuned to family life.

The result is an elevated yet warm home, where sophistication and comfort are thoughtfully woven into every space.
