Parallel House sits on a serene, tree-lined street in Malvern, seamlessly blending historical charm with modern convenience. The original Edwardian façade has been lovingly preserved, while a contemporary extension and mezzanine-style first floor - added in 2005 - bring a refined sense of modernity. The homeowners were drawn to its warm, inviting atmosphere - a space that feels effortlessly welcoming to family and friends while maintaining a relaxed, unpretentious character.

NY Design was engaged to reimagine the kitchen, improving both storage and accessibility to better suit their needs. A deep appreciation for natural timber also played a key role in the design direction. The result is a beautifully crafted kitchen that not only functions seamlessly but also enhances the warmth and character of the home.
