Pottery House

Pottery House is a contemporary new home in Caulfield South, designed for a family of four - including two young adult children - and their two beloved dogs.

The clients have a cherished collection of pottery from South Africa, along with sentimental pieces handmade by the client’s mother. These pieces are thoughtfully displayed throughout the home, adding a deeply personal touch.

NY Design was engaged during the construction phase to curate all the furniture selections, feature lighting, window treatments, and special design elements. These include a textured microcement finish on the double-sided fireplace wall, a rich and cocooning design for the cinema room, and custom joinery in the dining area featuring display shelves and a bespoke bar unit.

The result is a beautifully layered home that feels sophisticated yet warm and welcoming.
